Dr. Bruce Meyer and Dr. Frank DeRienzo, the optometrists at Newport Vision Center, continually strive to provide you and your family with the best possible eye care.

They are pleased to incorporate the latest technology to make that possible including Optic Nerve Laser Analysis for early Glaucoma detection, Corneal Topography to detect dystrophies of the Cornea and to help determine if Refractive Surgery is a viable option and Digital Retinal Photography to aid in the following of patients with such conditions as Glaucoma and Diabetes.  Most recently, they became the first practice in the area to offer Macula Pigment Density Analysis, scientifically proven to determine which patients are at risk for Macula Degeneration long before clinical signs are evident.

It is their policy to ensure that all staff members are up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques to make your visit as comfortable and effective as possible. As optometric technology changes, it is even more important to select an eye doctor who has all the right optometry qualifications and follows the latest developments in eye care.
